- These same code sections also cover the responsibilities of the servers and managers of servers.
- For example, an alcohol server who was employed by the licensee prior to July 1, 2022, must obtain an alcohol server certification by August 31, 2022.
- An alcohol server employed by the licensee on or after July 1, 2022, must obtain an alcohol server certificate within sixty calendar days.
- Like a licensee, a server or manager of a server will not be subject to criminal action for performing alcohol service duties without a valid alcohol server certification, but the licensee could be subjected to ABC disciplinary action.
